MATERIALS:
Plastic cups
Optional: Colorful tape
Thin rope/yarn
Scissors
Crafts knife
Water guns
Water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Use a crafts knife to make a hole in the center of the plastic cup.
Thread a long piece of yarn through the cup.
Cut the two ends of the yarn so that they reach two faraway points and tie them to those points.
Fill a water gun with water.
Bring the cup close to one end of the yarn.
Encourage the child to squirt water inside the cup, pushing it toward the opposite end.
For added fun, tie more cups on their individual yarns and turn it into a competition.
If you like, decorate the cups with colorful tape.
