  3. Remove the tape when finished.

DEVELOPMENT AREAS:

  1. CREATIVITY: Engaging in art activities encourages children to think creatively, explore different colors and shapes, and express their unique ideas. The process of coloring inside the taped shapes allows them to exercise their imagination and create their own designs.

  2. FINE MOTOR SKILLS: Handling the chalk and coloring within the confined spaces of the taped shapes helps develop fine motor skills. It requires precision and control of hand movements, contributing to the refinement of their hand-eye coordination.

  3. FOCUS AND ATTENTION: Completing the task of coloring within the designated shapes promotes concentration and attention to detail. The chil needs to stay focused on coloring inside the lines, enhancing their ability to sustain attention and follow instructions.

  4. SPATIAL AWARENESS: The activity involves understanding the relationship between shapes, colors, and space. By coloring within the taped shapes, children become more aware of spatial boundaries and learn to manipulate their drawings within those boundaries.

  5. CONFIDENCE AND SELF-EXPRESSION: Creating art and seeing their colorful designs come to life can boost a child's self-esteem and confidence. It provides them with a platform to express themselves, feel proud of their creations, and develop a sense of accomplishment.
